Hands-free Answer on Intercom
This feature allows the system to answer intercom calls automatically
via the speakerphone, so that call recipients do not have to pick up the
handset to respond to a call.
HDSL
High bit-rate DSL, one of the earliest forms of DSL, is used for wideband
digital transmission within a corporate site and between the telephone
company and a customer.
Hertz (Hz)
A measure of frequency of one cycle per second.
Hunt Group
A group of extensions that takes incoming or transferred calls in round-robin
fashion.
Hybrid Mode
An operating mode in which outside lines are grouped together in pools.
To access outside lines, users press pool buttons on their phones or enter
the pool access code. In this mode, users do not know which lines they
are using to make and receive calls.
