SPS and Consultedge Announce Intent to Merge


(Parsippany/Whippany, NJ - July 30th, 2010)Strategic Products and Services (SPS) and Consultedge, Inc. announce they have successfully negotiated and completed a Letter of Intent to merge the two companies.


SPS and Consultedge both specialize in the design, installation and support of converged network infrastructure, advanced IP telephony applications, unified communication and mobility solutions.

“This intended merger will enable SPS to leverage the great sales and technical talent within Consultedge to expand our market presence in the Carolinas, New Jersey and New York,” said John Poole, SPS president. “Our ultimate goal is to provide value-added solutions and services to address client needs. The combined companies fortify our business so we are best positioned to grow our competencies, strengthen vendor relations and enhance our solution and service offerings to clients globally.”

As Avaya Platinum certified Avaya Global Connect channel partners, both SPS and Consultedge have strong market presence, customer relationships, technical and service capabilities. Combining the two organizations will strengthen the value offered to new and existing customers.

Subject to standard legal and due diligence reviews, the merger is expected to be complete by mid August.
